Kia Ora today me and my team Me,Kobe,Rewi,Saige,Kiriti, and Savannah, unfortunately Savannah was absent, we are doing team building to see who can build the tallest tower we have been given a variety of items that we are going to use to build a tower ballons,tape,straws,cups and chopsticks. Me and Rewi had a job and that was to blow up the ballons, Saige was a tape dutie, Kiriti and kobe are putting the ballons in place to build the tower, we had a different strategy compared to all the other groups and that was to make our tower more stable our idea was to put the ballons by each other then stack it, we used tape to make it more stable to make sure it doesn’t fall and the straws and the chopsticks to make it hold. But in the end at the last second our build unfortunately fell over, but we place 3rd and our volley ball team photo.

This year I have been studying a novel “Hero of Hacksaw Ridge” The real life hero “Desmond Doss” He made me realize that you don’t need a gun to win a war, all you need is brains.

What I have been doing at Idy, for the past 10 weeks our class has been going to the Kawakawa RSA to clean once a week for work expreince, to give back to our community, here are all the jobs that i have done so far at the RSA, I have done toilet cleaning,recycling,table wiping,Moping and cleaning the kitchen. Those are all the jobs that I have done so far, out of all those jobs I think doing cleaning the kitchen was probably one of the hardest out of all the jobs that I have done. The group that I mainly work in is Me,Calais and Edekai we used these cleaning products that we used to clean our jobs, we used cloths,mop,vacuum and a spray that we used to wipe the windows and the mirrors, I usely clean one part of the toilets a Calais and Edekai do the others, Calais mops and Edekai vacuum’s we usely swap jobs once in a while I think we did a good job but we could work on putting away the cleaning products. But other than that it was a cool experience to work at the Kawakawa RSA. Overall it was pretty cool to go to the Kawakawa RSA and work there for work experience.

Where I am going to go for the next holiday’s. On my next holiday destination I am going to go to Australia out in Perth, it is going to be cool because I get to spend time with my family that live in Australia. When I get there me and my family are going to do so much together like going out shopping going to the movie cinemas and going out for a feed at fast food stops, we might even go to the zoo. And go swimming at the pool that is there back at the house, we and my big brother there might jam some games together.My brother might take me to where he works, we might have a party out in Australia. There are many things to do in Australia For those interested in history and culture, there are also many museums and art galleries to check out. The National Gallery of Australia in Canberra is home to some of the country’s most impressive art collections, while the Australian Museum in Sydney showcases the country’s rich natural history, those kind of things. Yeah me and my family are just going to spend some quality time together, just having fun and relaxing while it’s the holiday.

My Holidays start with me when I get home, I’m playing my game. And sleeping in all day, I wake up late in the mornings. Sometimes I go outside and take my motor bike for a ride down the road. Also on the Holidays I went fishing. And I went down to my cousins house had a feed and might even stay there for the night.

And in paihia there were fire works happing over there my family went but I did not want to go so I stayed home and played on my game.

And sometimes when I’m down at my cousins I might practice playing basketball when I am staying at my cousins, it is a small basket ball court enough for practicing and sometimes we might even have a 1v1 most of the times I would against my cousin.
